| At 59, I'm fortunate to have been fly fishing for over 40 years, and building custom fly rods for over 30 years. During that time techniques, materials, and technology have advanced, as have my skills in rod building. Every fly rod is hand crafted, with great pride, by me to exacting standards of quality. I refuse to accept anything but perfection in the rods I create for my customers. I'm Certified by the Rod Builder's Guild as a Professional Custom Rod Builder. Customer service is personal with me. I work at my home in a well-equipped shop, with professional equipment designed for rod-building. This arrangement enables constant contact with customers during rod construction and allows customers to reach me at their convenience.
